// FACEMAXX — Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and FACEMAXX ("we", "us"). By using the app you accept them.
1. What FACEMAXX is — and isn't
FACEMAXX is a visualization tool, not medical advice. The images it produces are AI-generated illustrations of how a cosmetic procedure might look. They are not predictions, simulations of real surgical technique, or guarantees of any outcome. Real results depend on your anatomy, the practitioner, and many factors an AI image cannot capture. Always consult a qualified, licensed medical professional before making any decision about a cosmetic procedure. Nothing in this app is a recommendation to undergo any procedure.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use FACEMAXX only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your photos
- Your photos remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them only as needed to provide the service (generating the previews you request).
- Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows someone other than you, you must have their permission to edit it.
- See the Privacy Policy for how photos are handled and deleted (originals auto-delete within 24 hours).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use FACEMAXX to harass, impersonate, or deceive anyone; to create content that is unlawful or that you'll present as a real photograph of someone without their consent; or to probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Credits and subscriptions
- Generations cost credits ("CC"). Credits are deducted when a generation starts and are automatically refunded if the generation fails.
- All purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled — manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- FACEMAXX uses anonymous accounts. Your credits are tied to the account created on your device. Deleting the app or your account permanently forfeits any remaining credits. Active subscriptions can be re-linked on a new install via "Restore purchases".
6. Termination
You can stop using FACEMAXX anytime, and delete your account and data in Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or abuse of the service.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI output can be inaccurate, unflattering, or fail entirely. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
