// FACEMAXX — Privacy Policy
FACEMAXX ("we", "us") is an app that creates AI-generated previews of cosmetic procedures on your photos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. The short version: we don't want your identity — there is no sign-up, no email, no name. Your photos are processed to make the preview you asked for, originals are deleted within 24 hours, and you can erase everything from inside the app.
What we collect
- Photos you choose to edit. A photo is uploaded to our servers only when you start a generation. We also store the AI-generated result images so your library works.
- An anonymous account ID. The app creates a random identifier on your device. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
- Purchase records. Whether your account has credits or an active subscription, kept in sync with Apple via RevenueCat. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports and basic performance data (via Sentry) so we can fix bugs.
How your photos are used
Photos are sent to Google Cloud's Vertex AI (Gemini) solely to generate the preview you requested. Under Google Cloud's terms, customer data sent to Vertex AI is not used to train Google's models. We do not sell your photos or any other data, we do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models of our own.
Face data
The only face data we collect is the photographs you choose to edit — we do not collect faceprints, facial-recognition templates, or any biometric identifiers, and we never use face data to identify anyone.
Use. Your photo is uploaded when you start a generation and is used solely to create the AI preview you requested. Face detection (finding where a face is in the photo) runs on your device using Apple Vision and MediaPipe; the detected geometry is used transiently to position the preview and is not stored as a separate record on our servers.
Storage. Uploaded photos and generated results are stored in Google Cloud Storage (Firebase), processed by Google Cloud's Gemini model as described above, and are not used to train AI models.
Sharing. Face data is never sold and never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. It is processed only by Google Cloud / Firebase acting as our service provider to render the preview you asked for.
Retention and deletion. Original uploads are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Generated preview images are kept so your library works, until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) permanently removes all of your photos, previews, and data from our servers.
How long we keep things

Deleting your data
Open the app → Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your photos, generated images, history, credits, and the account itself from our servers. It cannot be undone. (An active App Store subscription is managed by Apple — cancel it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.)
Who we share data with
Only the service providers that run the product: Google Cloud / Firebase (storage, database, AI processing), Apple (payments), RevenueCat (purchase management), and Sentry (crash reporting). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We don't share data with advertisers or data brokers, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Children
FACEMAXX is not directed at children under 13, and you may not use it if you are under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
